hanyou are half demons, half human, half animal. these are the new creatures to our au naruto plot. hanyou have the ability to shift their forms at will and can have half forms. these half forms allow them to use some of the abilities of their animal half, and may cause changes to their human forms such as animal ears, claws, etc.

how do you become a hanyou?

hanyou can be born or created. the created process isn’t hard to understand. normally a person can become a hanyou from having a near to death occurrence or something mentally or physically changing. In these cases the human may change to the animal counterpart that is needed the most at that time. If someone was drowning, their change would most likely be to an animal that can breathe underwater.

when a hanyou is born do they take the animal of their parents?

its a random process. sometimes yes, they can have the same type of animal as their parents, but they can also get a completely different animal. depending on where they are born does have a factor on this, if you were born in suna you are most likely going to be born a desert animal despite what your parents are. its the hanyou’s natural adaption process that has this effect on hanyou birth.

can a child born from hanyou not be a hanyou?

its possible but very rare. most times a child born from hanyou becomes a hanyou. in rare cases when the parents hanyou blood cancels each other out it can happen. like mentioned before this is very, VERY rare.
