AKATSUKI, uchiha sasuke

It all began while he was still but a boy. He grew up as the youngest son of the head of the Uchiha Clan, and captain of the Konoha Military Police Force. His mother was loving and caring. And he grew up in the shadow of his loving older brother, Itachi. Itachi was the Clan's prodigy, their father's favorite, and was better than him in so many ways. It left a young Sasuke feeling left out, even though he loved his older brother dearly. He always tried to climb over the wall that separated them, always tried to reach his brother's level, and never succeeded.

Their father paid him less attention than Itachi.

Everything all happened when he was younger, only but a little boy. He grew up as the youngest son of the Konoha Military Police Force captain and the head of the Uchiha clan. He grew up with a loving mother. And he grew up in the shadow of his loving older brother, Itachi. While he loved his older brother, Sasuke constantly tried to climb over the wall that marked Itachi as the clan prodigy and not him. His father spared him less attention than the older, and, even when he excelled at the top of every class in the Ninja Academy, failed to gain recognition from the man.

As Sasuke grew closer to Itachi, he steadily became stronger, but forever lurked in his brother's shadow. And steadily as Itachi and their father's relationship went downhill, the older man began to spend more time with his younger son, even teaching him the Great Fireball Technique, the jutsu that marked Uchiha as come-of-age in the Clan. And in a week, Sasuke managed to learn it, and actually gained his father's approval, along with a stern warning not to follow in his brother's footsteps.

The young boy didn't realize what this meant, but, happy to have his father's recognition, continued to train more. Shortly after, however, was when Itachi slaughtered the clan, only sparing Sasuke. Forever keeping the words his brother told him in mind, to get stronger, and that he had to kill his best friend to get the Mangekyo Sharingan.

Years later, he was put onto a team of genin upon graduating the Ninja Academy. The team consisted of him, Uzumaki Naruto, and Haruno Sakura. While he paid Sakura little mind, not interested in the girl's (or any of the girls for that matter) attempts to "get him", he quickly saw Naruto as a rival. As the two grew stronger, trying to stay on the top, Sasuke grew closer to his team and sensei.

After the Chuunin Exams and a failed invasion by Orochimaru, Sasuke went to see Kakashi, only to find the jounin in a coma. After a while, one of the other jounin let it slip that it was caused by none other then Itachi, who had infiltrated the village in an attempt to find Naruto. Determined to find Itachi, and try to save his teammate, Sasuke tracked Naruto down and managed to fight his older brother, only to miserably fail and wind up getting put in the same coma-like state as Kakashi.

He only awoke because of Tsunade's successful treatment. However, when he awoke, he was now angry that Itachi was still stronger, and that Naruto had gotten so much stronger in such a short time. Challenging Naruto to a fight, who accepted, he was determined to beat his rival, but was stopped by Kakashi, who wound up lecturing him. However, none of this changed Sasuke's mind, and eventually he wound up leaving Konoha with the Sound Four, who were sent to retrieve him by Orochimaru.

Having his cursed seal advanced to its second level, Sasuke soon awoke to find Naruto. The two fought, Naruto determined to bring Sasuke back, and Sasuke determined to kill his best friend to get the Mangekyo. However, when he managed to defeat Naruto, he couldn't bring himself to kill him, and instead left, determined to get the power in his own way.

Several years went by as Sasuke trained under the sannin Orochimaru, constantly getting stronger. Finally, when his "replacement" entered his room during the period in time when Team Kakashi came searching for him, Sasuke wound up blowing his room up when Sai mentioned wanting to repair his and Naruto's bond. This drew his other two old teammates to his location, and Sasuke decided to finish finish Naruto off. However, Orochimaru came at that time and stopped the boy.

Not much later, Sasuke came to the conclusion that he was finally strong enough to kill Itachi, and also decided that he no longer needed Orochimaru around. Killing the sannin, he then proceeded to put together a team so he could go after his brother.

After a while, Sasuke and Team Hebi split up to try and locate Itachi's whereabouts. During this time, he came across Deidara and Tobi. Deidara decided he wanted to kill him for being the one to kill Orochimaru, since he himself wanted to kill him. Sasuke was able to counter most of his attacks, and as a last effort, Deidara used C0, and attempt to blow himself up and take Sasuke with him.

Sasuke survived this by summoning Manda, forcing the snake to shield him by using his Sharingan on him. Manda died from this. After his wounds were healed, and the team was back together, Hebi proceeded towards one of the Akatsuki lairs. Here Sasuke found a "crow clone" of his brother, who winds up telling him they'll have their battle at the Uchiha Hideout. Sasuke left, and left the team to fight Kisame.

When he gets to the Hideout, Itachi tells Sasuke of the history of their clan, of "Madara Uchiha" being alive still. He also told him his own "desire" to get a flawless Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan by taking Sasuke's eyes. Their first battle is one of Genjutsu, Sasuke demanding for him to tell him of Madara's location so that he can kill him after. However, Itachi declares him to be "immortal" before putting Sasuke in a Tsukuyomi, which he gets free of, surprising Itachi. Zetsu happened to be there stalking them because he's creepy like that. The two fight it out, and eventually, after using Kirin, Orochimaru comes out like the creep-toid he is in an attempt to steal his body once more. Itachi was a nice older brother though, and kindly forced Orochimaru out and sealed him in the Genjutsu realm, removing Orochimaru from him.

Sasuke isn't a very grateful brother it seems. He got cornered by Itachi, believing his brother was about to "take his eyes" (gosh Sasuke, your brother's not a creep like Orochimaru and Zetsu dude), but instead Itachi pokes his forehead, says a few things, and dies, and we got all sad because Itachi was awesome. Buttfaces.

Then Sasuke passes out cause he's lame.

Sasuke later woke up bound and tied (kinky) somewhere. Tobi was there, revealing himself to be "Madara Uchiha" and shows him his Sharingan. Sasuke's eye doesn't like him though, and tries to burn Tobi. It doesn't work though. Tobi proceeds to tell Sasuke about the truth behind Itachi, the reason why he killed the Clan, and that the entire time he was trying to protect Sasuke (Awww!).

Sasuke got depressed from here on, and decided that since Itachi was doing everything to protect Konoha, it would be a brilliant idea to destroy Konoha in honor of his brother and renamed Hebi to Taka and declared their goal was to destroy Konohagakure.

So from here on, Team Taka joined the Akatsuki. Tobi sent them to the Land of Lightning to capture the Eight-Tails from Killer Bee. Killer Bee proved to be stronger, and the fight got off to a not very good start. Killer Bee was too awesome for Sasuke and couldn't defeat him. Karin had to heal him, and the team decides to attack all at once. Still, Bee managed to outsmart them all. Sasuke decided to try a genjutsu, but the Eight-Tails broke Bee out of it, and Bee used the Bijuu's chakra to blow Sasuke's neck and chest open (say ouch much?).

Jugo managed to heal Sasuke by fusing some of his flesh with Sasuke's body, and Suigetsu tried to get them time to flee and protect them. Fearing for his teammates Sasuke unleashed the Mangekyo Sharingan and Amaterasu to defeat Bee. Sasuke found out later that his eyesight was deteriorating when he tipped over a glass of water. He kept this information hidden from his team.

Once the team was recovered from the fight, they headed towards Konoha, because they could so easily defeat the entirety of Konoha when Bee gave them trouble. Tobi intercepted them, and told them about the destruction of Konoha (By Pein) and that Bee had just been a transformed tentacle, so their capture failed. He then told them of Danzo becoming the Hokage and about the Kage Summit.

It was here that Tobi offered Sasuke Itachi's eyes to keep him in the Akatsuki. Since Sasuke is a power hungry jerk he accepted, and gained the power of the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan and the number nine position in the new Akatsuki. As another incentive Tobi gave him control of Akatsuki.
