Another Dream [Naruto/open]

There were days when exhaustion took over her completely. This was one of those days. She had been at the hospital all night and that had drained her chakra in a way that she herself could not fathom. Though, it didn't seem all that surprising. Ever since she had been taught by Tsunade she had become a medic and things had been hard after the attack on the village.

There had been a lot of close calls, and it made her worry. The worst of them all was the fact that her teacher was no longer with them. While she was alive, she wouldn't respond to anyone not even Sakura, herself. The Sanin was worrying her and it had become apparent since the young medical ninja had stepped up and taken the Sanin's place as head medic.

While she had been trained by Tsunade and knew everything that she needed to carry this job, it was still lonesome without her around. She had noticed several times earlier that she had been crying. While it was involuntary she couldn't help but notice that it was how she really felt on the inside. She should of known better than to show such emotions.

It was thanks to her teacher that several people had survived the attack. Including her old squad leader, Kakashi Hatake. To many things had happened since Naruto had returned and that was a lot of trouble for not just her but others in the hidden leaf. It was hard to live day to day unsure of what was going to happen.

So here she was in the training grounds were so many memories lay. So many thoughts and presences laid here. There was always Sasuke... but that was a memory she didnt' want to bring up. She felt those tears brimming to the surface again and she moved her back against the middle pole that lay in the training grounds.

Before she knew it she let her form slide to the ground. She didn't know how he did it. How could naruto keep up with it all when she herself felt like she was swirling in a vortex of pain. She buried her head against her legs as she sobbed a little. "How do you do it... "
